Jorge Granados manages two businesses in Gwinnett, an estimator for a restoration company, Board member for a non-profit, a Business Partner for a Local School Council in Gwinnett, and Political Chair for the Sierra Club Gwinnett Group. Political Interests: Attainable housing, Education Reform, Affordable Healthcare, Public Safety, and Clean Energy and Conservation. I enjoy helping out our communities and mentoring the youth to become future leaders. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, learning anything and everything, traveling, and just going out.
Erica Pope is a married mother of 2, licensed social worker with expertise in maternal and infant health, a community engagement expert, and HR generalist. Erica is also a former Dacula City Council Candidate. My political interests: Women’s Rights, Higher Minimum Wages, Subsidized Housing, Universal Healthcare (To decrease Maternal and Infant mortality), and Public Education. I enjoy volunteering,learning new things, re-visiting history, and advocating for women in politics and leadership. I love to spend my time reading, writing, brunching, traveling, and spending time with family/friends.
Akbar Ali is currently a deputy campaign manager and community organizer, while also being a political science and public relations student at Kennesaw State University. His political interests center chiefly around social connectivity in communities, housing development, HOA regulation, and combating political apathy. I enjoy connecting with and exploring different perspectives, communities, and cultures. While constantly diving deeper into my own as well. I usually spend my spare time writing poetry, playing billiards, and making the most with my close friends and family.

Her political interests include immigration reform, education, women’s rights, and family support services. She enjoys empowering youth to level up, learn new skills, and become future leaders. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Meet our Treasurer, Nico Parra. Nico is a poll manager for Gwinnett County, a campaign operative for U.S. Congressman David Scott, and a community volunteer for the Gwinnett County Language Equity Project. His political interests are election administration, voting rights, and language equity. He enjoys promoting civic engagement and career opportunities for the youth. In his spare time, he referees youth and adult hockey games.
